Statement of Faith

We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah1, the Son of God who represents God the Father in the flesh. He mediates a new covenant2, and, accordingly, is our advocate in Heaven3. We’ve inherited the ministry of reconciliation from Jesus, who in dying and then rising, reconciled, redeemed, justified, and sanctified us to our Father in Heaven4. We believe that the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth and impresses upon us things yet to come5. We believe that all were destined before the formation of the world to be appointed sons and daughters of God, according to His great purpose6. We believe that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen,7 and available to all who through grace are saved by it8. Just as Abraham’s faith was reckoned to him as righteousness9, we, the faithful descendants of Abraham10, have become the righteousness of God11, for we can consciously make the decision to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified12. Finally, we believe that there is no alternative in getting to our Father except through Jesus13, and through the obedience of this truth, we’ve been designed and empowered to live holy lives and function as his body14, minister in His way, and replicate His works15.
